Dream listening is full body listening. Pay special attention to any sounds you hear or listen to. Third thing, you can just draw them instead of writing them out. Fourth thing, you can use the guide in the next post to help you get the dream down.
It might be cool to read others' dreams and try to incorporate elements of those dreams into your own? Can you draw an interpretation of it?

Paying attention to our dreams and sharing them with other people/ The beauty of that is sharing with family members or outer community, and listening to the dreams of others.
This has become increasingly difficult in this society. Because of dream methodologies that have taken away our own understanding and relationship to our own individual dreams.
We begin to return to a more indigenous way of relating to our dreams. NA, Egyptian, other European, South American cultures pay attention to their dreams in a way we don't. They live their lives more closely connected to the dream life.
(though his is also a dream methodology. but it's one that is about sticking closer to a personal interpretation, rather than a cultural one)
What they don't lie about is the feelings. Whatever the stories that come which are fabulous, whatever the symbols are, we can always count on the feelings as a truth for us. They may not be pleasant feelings. A lot of people don't want to do it because it's unpleasant. But we're trying to lift off judgement so we can take the feelings as information. Fuller emotional lives.
We've spent so much time armoring ourselves we forget what we're feeling. We always have that as a gift from the dreams. The reason why communities like the Senoi...the reason why they could lead fuller lives is because they listen to the other members of the community, attention given to others' dreams.

LIFT OFF JUDGEMENT
We try not to tighten around them or fit into a mold. Let them breathe, live, float. One aspect of the dream journal is that you cann jot down a dream, a few days later you might have a clue! When you look back a year later, you get some interesting insight into your own development.
We're listening and lifting off judgement for ourselves. Listening for actual sound in dreams. Somewhat marginalized in the dream world because they're so visual. Sound is more subtle.
Resist that temptation to say, 'Oh I know what that means!'
Exhalt the Fragments!
Some think they don't dream because there is not a full story but dreams are holographic, and the peices can be multidimensional.
Dreams are Timeless
Things from the past can resonate with you now in your dreams, taking you back to those times, led.
Writing Dreams is Painful
You can just jot down notes! They can be pretty power. Crucial things. It'll spark your memory. Could also use a tape recorder.
Request
Do you have v heavy dreams and want to have more fun dreams? You can request your dreams, and intend to have more fun dreams. Think about fun things as you go to sleep, meditate on good shit.
Ancestral Understandings
Your culture filters down to you in dreams. Expansion of who you are. Not getting stuffed up!
Over Time, Similarity
Objects and events: similar stuff emerges over time.
